Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly and professionally to agents' needs with a focus on accuracy and excellent service.
  • Address agent inquiries and resolve issues through verbal and written communication.
  • Triage basic annuity-related calls, providing resources, illustrations, and referrals to licensed representatives when necessary.
  • Ensure agents' licenses and credentials are always current.
  • Navigate online platforms to retrieve and share web-based documents with agents.
  • Follow up with carriers and transfer companies daily to ensure smooth processing of paperwork and funds.
  • Assist in developing operational procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to ask the right questions to gather information.
  • Comfortable working across time zones with remote team members.
  • Open to feedback and dedicated to continuous improvement.
  • Preferred: Experience in the insurance industry (but not required).
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a knack for meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • A team player who supports the organization’s goals and collaborates effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues proactively.

 

  • Experience with system testing and documentation of new processes
  • Insurance industry experience is preferred, but not required
  • Four-year college degree, in Mathematics, Accounting or something similar
  • CPA preferred but not required.
